Meet James Dellmyer

In 2018, James decided he wanted to directly serve the people of Cecil County and make the community a safer place to live. So, he left a successful private practice to join the State’s Attorney’s Office. Now, the impact of his leadership is clear.

James works hard every day to hold offenders accountable and to keep Cecil County neighborhoods and businesses safe. As a leader in law enforcement, James works with other public safety agencies to crack down on violent crime and the criminals that wreak havoc on communities. He has created effective and innovative strategies to tackle low level crimes while aggressively pursuing violent crimes, sex crimes and crimes against children.

James demonstrates his commitment to give the victims of crime a strong voice in the criminal justice system. Our community is safer and stronger thanks to James’ leadership. Let’s make sure we this strong leader continues to serve the people of Cecil County by re-electing James Dellmyer to States Attorney, Cecil County.

James Keeps Us Safe By:

  • Serving as a leader for law enforcement initiatives that fight crime in our communities

  • Protecting the rights of all citizens, including victims and the accused

  • Prioritizing the prosecution of violent crimes, sex crimes and crimes against children – making sure that dangerous offenders are off the streets

  • Reducing crime by targeting Cecil County’s illegal drug supply while supporting treatment for addiction
